These tools may include anonymized interaction logs or session replays that show how users navigate our site, without capturing sensitive input fields or personally identifiable content.

2A. Seller Information

If you register as a seller or brand partner, we collect business contact details, identity verification documents (processed via Stripe), payment information (processed via third-party payment processors), and product listing content. This information is used to manage listings, transactions, payouts, and compliance with our Seller Program Terms. Seller banking and identity information is collected and stored by Stripe through its Express Connect platform; Fragrance Free Nation does not have access to Seller bank account numbers or government-issued identification documents. Seller data is treated with the same security and privacy standards as user data.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to operate, maintain, and improve our services. This includes providing core functionality, personalizing product recommendations, and communicating with users and sellers. We also use data to analyze usage patterns, enhance security, develop new features, and ensure compliance with our Terms of Service and applicable laws.

4. Information Sharing

We share limited information with third parties only when necessary to operate and improve our services. This may include:

• Data partners and APIs that provide or display product information
• Marketing affiliates and partner platforms that help us track referrals or commissions
• Stripe, our payment processor, which handles all payment processing, seller payouts, and related financial services (see Stripe's Privacy Policy)
• Sellers on our marketplace, who receive the buyer's name, shipping address, email address, phone number (where provided) and order details, and any description or photo the buyer submits with a return request or problem report, solely to fulfill the order and to resolve returns and problems with it
• A seller's own store or fulfillment provider, such as Shopify or Amazon Multi-Channel Fulfillment, where the seller has connected one. It receives the order information listed above so the seller can ship the order. Its handling of that information is governed by the seller's agreement with that provider
• Shipping carriers and our shipping label provider, which receive the names and addresses needed to create a label and deliver the package
• Trusted service providers that host, analyze, or secure our systems

Sellers may only use buyer information for order fulfillment and are prohibited from using it for marketing or any other purpose under our Seller Program Terms.

We do not sell or rent personal information. We may share aggregated or anonymized data for analytics, research, or business purposes that do not identify individual users.

5. Data Security

We implement technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include encryption, access controls, and regular security reviews. While we follow industry-standard practices and take reasonable steps to secure your information, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection or uninterrupted operation of our services.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy or as required by law. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of data and the purpose for which it was collected. Order and transaction records may be retained for up to seven (7) years for tax, legal, and compliance purposes. Upon account deletion, data may be anonymized and retained for analytics, audit, and compliance purposes.

For sellers, we retain business contact details, payment information, and product listing content for as long as the seller account remains active or as required by law. Seller banking and identity information is retained by Stripe in accordance with its own data retention policies.
