Eleos Body Care began as part of my own search for simpler, gentler skincare. Living at high altitude in the Colorado mountains, entering menopause, and caring for sensitive, mature skin made me much more aware of what I was putting on my body. I’m also quite sensitive to strong scents, which can trigger headaches for me, so fragrance-free products have become especially important in my own life.
When I struggled to find products made with the simple ingredients I wanted, I began creating my own using nourishing staples such as grass-fed tallow, unrefined organic mango butter, and organic jojoba oil. What started in my own kitchen soon grew after friends and family began loving and requesting the products too.
Today, I handcraft Eleos Body Care in small batches in the mountains of Colorado, with a focus on simple formulations, thoughtfully chosen ingredients, and dedicated fragrance-free and essential-oil-free options. I believe people who are sensitive to fragrance shouldn’t have to choose between products that feel beautiful to use and products that respect their sensitivities.
The name Eleos comes from the Greek word for “mercy,” which reflects the heart behind my business: creating with care and offering something simple, nourishing, and genuinely useful to others.
