Home Within began through my journey of advocating for my daughter’s sensory needs. As I learned to recognize the ways that sounds, textures, smells, and other everyday sensations could affect her, I began looking at my own experiences differently. Along my journey, I discovered that I have a hypermobility disorder and am neurodivergent myself. The more I started to open my eyes to my own needs, the more I realized how uncomfortable many everyday things were for my body. When I began searching for products that felt more comforting and supportive, I realized that not many existed. So I created them myself. I focused on lightweight textures, gentle ingredients, and fragrance free formulas designed with sensory comfort in mind. That process made me realize how much I wished more people had access to sensory friendly products that allowed them to care for themselves in a way that actually felt good. And ultimately, that became the heart of Home Within: creating products that help people create a sense of home within themselves.
